Boldon Lawn Tennis Club (BLTC) was formed way back in 1886, and has continued to fulfil it's aim of providing tennis facilities for the local community. It provides both competitive and social tennis across a range of ages and abilities and has continued to update and improve it's facilities on a regular basis. We now have 6 artificial grass courts (3 of which are floodlit) and clubhouse with changing rooms, seating area and catering facilities.

We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and sociable club with a variety of membership categories (see Membership page) and coaching programmes (see Coaching page) for both juniors and seniors.

We have senior (including veteran) and junior teams in local inter-club and national leagues (see Teams page), and have a varied social calendar for both tennis and non-tennis activities (see Calendar page).
